Gameplay
1. Refer to Figure 2 for placement. 2 players need only 4 gems of each color to play, 3 players are 5, and yellow is always 5. All other rules are the same. Yellow is a universal gemstone and can be substituted for any color.
2. There are four actions in the game round that you can choose to perform
(1) Take 3 gems of a different color.
(2) Take 2 gems of the same color, provided there are 4 or more of this color.
(3) Keep a Resource Score Card in hand and take a yellow gem. Only the action of reserving a resource card allows you to take a yellow gem; you cannot take a yellow gem directly. Reserve up to 3 cards in front of you at the same time. Reserved cards need to be placed horizontally in front of you to represent unfinished. At the end of the game, there is no penalty for uncompleted reserved cards.
(4) Exchange a Score Resource card on the table or kept in front of you. Place it vertically in front of you to represent completion.
Game Over.
The game ends when a player has 15 points, so after completing the current turn the game ends. This way everyone’s turn is the same. The person with the highest score wins, and the player with the lowest number of score resource cards for the same score wins.
