D&D Accessories: Keep October strong with these spooky Halloween dice

It’s officially October and it’s time to stock up on more horror cubes for all the horror games we’ll be playing this month.
Halloween first! Even though pumpkin spice season is a long time ago, I’m looking forward to getting out my (admittedly too many) Halloween decorations, starting to watch all my favorite scary and not-so-scary movies, and stocking up on candy.
Unfortunately, I also live in one of the biggest Halloween tourist cities in the US. So October also means that the city center is dead for me until November, and driving without traffic jams is often completely impossible. Luckily, I didn’t have to go downtown to buy any of those creepy Halloween-themed dice sets for any of the spooky one-shots we have planned for this month.
The design of this dice set is very simple, which I really like. Each cube has a different Halloween theme, from boiling cauldrons to tombstones. The numbers are in their usual places, and the black numbering makes them easier to read.
Of course, if orange isn’t your thing, these cubes also come in a variety of colors. Apart from Christmas designs if you plan your holiday activities in advance.
Encased in clear resin, these dice’s giant green dragon eyes watch your every move. So whether your critical strike passes or fails can be a personal matter. Every time an inanimate object suddenly announces itself as a sentient being or something designed to spy on you, it becomes a hundred times creepier, and the effect of the scene is beautiful and pure.
There are other eye color combinations, and even some with more human-like eyes. Honestly, that’s probably more of a concern.
Whether you love vampire stories, horror movies, or just enjoy the spooky elements, simple blood splatter cubes are perfect for Halloween play. The set is made of metal and has a very thick roll that feels nice to the touch, which many of us really like. And the design is perfect in its simplicity. Silver on black itself looks very clean. The blood stains on it were even more shocking.
If you don’t play D&D, but play one of the many systems that only require a small amount of D6, these Nightmare Before Christmas dice might be perfect for you. The skulls are designed to look like Oogie Boogie dice and have you rolling as many eyes as they have. So they are very close to the classic D6. That’s the beauty of Tim Burton. If you like The Nightmare Before Christmas but don’t particularly like Bones, there are other options.
This is another set for those who want a bunch of weird and sophisticated D6s. At first glance, they look like regular dice from any Monopoly set. But every digital dot is a human skull. I love them and may have to get them for the haunted house session my family is going to attend.
Ouch! Hello! If you decide to purchase these items, BoLS can make some money. We need money to buy a twelve-foot frame for my front lawn.
The Baldur’s Gate 3 cast appeared in Dungeons & Dragons and began playing Bully Gale almost immediately.
